What is Science?
Science is actually two things: the knowledge that we've collected about our world, and the process that we use to gather that information. In General Science 7 and 8, we adhere closely to the Arizona Science Standards for each grade level. Students learn and practice the fundamentals of the Inquiry Process while studying Earth Science, Ecology, and Astronomy in 7th grade, while 8th graders are introduced to Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.

The Calendar page lists all homework assignments and scheduled tests and quizzes.
The Syllabus pages give more detailed information about each course, including suggested supplies, policies and procedures, and expectations for student behavior.
The Cornell Notes page provides student access to my Cornell Notes for each unit. Students may not print out these notes and submit them as their own work. Students may work from my notes to check their notes for completeness or to create their own notes in the event of an absence.
The Review Worksheet page includes blank worksheets we completed in class or for homework for students needing copies.
The Photo Gallery includes photos of lab activities. Most photos are provided by students.
The Science Fair page gives a brief overview of Science Fair grading and expectations, with links to the Science Fair packet and research report template.
